Laura

hey there boys- the fair has come and gone and you were all missed dearly. It was a drizzly overcast fair that made you apreciate the breaks of sun. as a fairy who runns around all day i liked the clouds. Now all i can do is sleep. Oh! the drugs, working their way out of my body- waking up a bit dizzy- sleep again. There were less people out at night this year- security was on it. there is new land and next year main stage will be down in the crafts lot- so the concerts can be way bigger. the new land is beautiful- clear and untouched. tall pines and hills- it's the high ground. Well darlings- hope you're doing well- much love to you all

I think that I told you guys when you were here, but if you get to Morgantown, WV, you should give Sparrow D. a call. Her cell number is 304-667-2667 or email at [email protected]. I've been trying to get a hold of her but no luck.
Nick and I had a great visit. You'll have to ask him his oppinion of my significant other. Obviously I'm pretty bias at this point. Best of luck, call me if I can help in anyway.

Spotted this on Boing Boing and thought of Vagabender:

DefCon [annual hacker conference] attendee Phillip Torrone of Make Magazine writes:

"One the coolest projects I've seen so far at DEFCON was the kegbot, a linux based keg that dispenses beer as long as you have an iButton key. The system keeps track of who you are, how much you're drinking and in team mode- where you rank. The Kegbot crew built and deployed a kegbot on site at DEFCON, we were lucky enough to get there and document the building of it!"

More pics and instructions on building your own Kegbot at the Make Magazine web site.

Hi nephew mark and buds. I have so enjoyed reading of your adventures! What a great idea to post online; bet lotsa people are "following" you. You guys must be in NYC by now. Tomorrow we leave for the GIANT REDWOODS! So sad that you won't be there to help us celebrate in the infamous HUMBOLDT county. Calling your mom to check on her itinerary. Due to the rambling along of the noted canine Six-TOE, I will be escorted only by Riley. And hey, no blue green algae this year! Whoopee. Buon viaggio guys, wish you would be there!

i think it's great what you guys are doing, and through it all meeting so many people. it's all about the connections, how many people you can share something with and keep them somehow tied to you, like strings from your heart. if you all ever (ha ha) hitch a ride over the deep blue atlantic, let me know. i know places all over, especially cologne, germany!! where you're all always welcome.

hi there,

At first, do you who i am? (if not: i am one of the germans).

In thirty days is the Soccer Worldcup in Germany. We have talked about it at our/your journey through the United States. You wanna come visit Germany at this time?

Greetz, Stefan

P.S.: Since the last weeks I think Germany have to win the Worldcup because wiht Arsenal Londons Goalie Lehmann and next sessions Chelsea Londons Michael Ballack we have to great players. That is all, but, think about it, the pope is german, too :)
