The new spare-tire securing mechanism: an eye-bolt, a lock nut, two washers, a couple u-clips and a 12-inch span of plate. Works great with a socket wrench.

Zion Canyon
The angles in Zion make it hard to capture from the road level with a non-wide-angle camera, but this kind of sheer canyon is the order of the day.
