Are you guys still in nyc? i am in connecticut right on a lake if you guys were interested in a swim and it was not too far out of your way. But i just found out that i have to fly back to San francisco in order to mantain my biometric visa to study in france for a year- so i am flying out early tomorrow morning and will be gone for 3 days.
i will be taking the metro north train into the city this evening though- and have nothing to do until 6 am if you guys are still around- give me a call on my cell phone ( josh has it) other wise happy trails!

I forgot to mention/suggest while you all were here in DC, to consider hiking to the top of Mt. Katahdin in Baxter State Park (Maine) on your westward return. It's a grand and full day's hike from base to summit and when you return to your camp by evening, a chilly beer, supper and climbing into your sleeping bags will never be more appreciated.
The workout does good things to both body and soul.
